Youth

MPREC manages Youth Services in the communities of Gulargambone, Coonamble, Goodooga and Menindee. Funding received to run these programs is provided by the NSW Department of Community Services and the Australian Attorney-General’s Department.

Links to Learning

As part of the Coonamble Youth Services, an alternative school program is delivered. The program known as Links to Learning targets Years 7-8 High School students and is funded by the Department of Education and Training.

MPAYLP

The Murdi Paaki Aboriginal Youth Leadership Program is a regional strategy developed and implemented by a range of agencies including, DEEWR, FaCSHIA, DET and DAA. MPREC is the auspice body, holding a range of program contracts, employing and managing the Project Officer, and is represented on the Steering Committee.
